How to promote more sustainable farming and responsible trade in the coffee sector?

This question was top of the agenda for German roasters and traders at a recent workshop facilitated by Aidenvironment.

As the coffee sector is confronting again a price crisis, GIZ brought German coffee companies together in Bonn to discuss responsible trading practices, their effectiveness and enabling conditions. It was a constructive discussion that not only deepened the collective knowledge on the topic.

It will also serve as an important input into the ICO Sector Dialogue on Price Levels to be held on June 6th in Brussels. Jan Willem Molenaar from Aidenvironment has been invited to give a keynote address and moderate a panel on pricing mechanisms.
