Midterm Review of Climate Change Research Projects

Conflict & Cooperation in the Management of Climate Change (CCMCC) is a research, knowledge and innovation programme, part of the CoCooN (Conflict and Cooperation over Natural Resources in Developing Countries) programme of The Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research (NWO). CCMCC will provide a robust and rigorous evidence base from which policies and programmes can be developed in a way that supports collaborative rather than conflictual approaches to managing the impacts of climate change. The programme is funded by the UK Department for International Development (DFID) and carried out by NWO-WOTRO Science for Global Development. Aidenvironment will carry out in the coming months the midterm review of the 7 projects financed within this programme. The purpose of the midterm review is to assess and report on progress and lessons learnt, and to provide recommendations on necessary adjustments for the second phase of the projects and the programme as a whole. The midterm review will make use of mixed methods, i.e. quantitative data where available as well as qualitative inquiry during project country visits.
