Evaluation of Dutch Foreign Policy in Latin America, Component ‘Sustainable Development’ 2012 – 2013

Aidenvironment and Mekong Ecology evaluated the Dutch foreign policy in Latin America for the component of sustainable development, over the period 2004-2011. The main subject of the evaluation was the effect of Dutch policy on enhancing policy development and performance in sustainable production and trade chains, the modalities used and the policy coherence. Involved countries were Brazil, Colombia, Paraguay, Argentina and Bolivia. Evaluation of case studies focused on bio-ethanol, sustainable soy production, sustainable coal production, forest management, and green house gas emissions and international climate policies.
