Final Impact Evaluation SNV WASH Program in Ethiopia

Aidenvironment currently conducts an impact evaluation of the SNV WASH program in Ethiopia. The aim of the impact evaluation is to provide insight into the impact of the WASH project on household, community and government level.

For the impact evaluation both quantitative and qualitative methods will be used. 1200 to 1500 households and 150 facilities will be surveyed using mobile devices to measure impact at household and community level. At government level the impact will be measured through in-depth surveys and focus groups discussions to gain insight into impact of capacity enhancement of SNV. The program was implemented between 2007 and 2013, thus the results from the impact measurements will be compared with the baseline and mid-term data to provide insight into the sustained impact of the program.
