Auriane Germémont joined Aidenvironment in September 2018. Based in Indonesia, she has worked on multiple projects aiming at supporting the implementation of sustainability commitments of palm oil traders and consumer good companies. She is involved in various activities including collection and analysis of quantitative and qualitative data, writing of reports on companies operating in the palm oil and industrial timber sectors, supply chain analysis, and assessment of No Deforestation, No Peat, No Exploitation (NDPE) policies. Before joining Aidenvironment, she contributed to the CIFOR/USAID program ‘’Governing Oil Palm Landscape for Sustainability’’ as part of her master’s degree. Through this research, she has acquired knowledge on forest and land-use governance in Indonesia, the palm oil value chain and its stakeholders and the socio-political implications of oil palm cultivation.
